Guidelines
This is the voting page for the website. This is where people can access what the categories are and another way to access my contact information to add your images into the vote. The vote is quite short at the moment due to the lack of images submitted to me. When there are more images sent, I can make the vote more expansive and interactive than it is now. The winners of the current vote are displayed in the gallery page. If you win the vote your photo will be added to the gallery page.
The Voting process takes some time to fully occur. This is because I need to check my email and then check to see if an image fits the submission criteria. If it doesn’t fit the criteria I then need to just wait for more images. I will update the winner gallery and vote page every week. If there are no new images sent then I will have to use repeat winners in the gallery and specify how many times an image has won.
Category: Wildlife
The Wildlife category mostly in my opinion consists of plant life and animals as well as people. However, to keep a more natural theme to the website I would prefer if people stuck to the animals and plant life. Trees and grass do not count since they are more geared toward nature. A combination of categories is allowed but whatever I see more of will be what the category will be. For example: if there is a large bear taking up most of a photo it will be a wildlife category image.
Category: Food
The Food category is well food. It can mostly consist of any kind of food. I primarily have right now vegetables and fruit but if meat type foods are submitted, they will still count. I mainly used vegetables and fruit to keep that nature-like theme going. However, since meat is still part of wildlife, I will still count it for the vote. Nothing too crazy though like pizza or something I have never heard of. Dairy type food should also be more on the lower end of what I would expect or accept in terms of the vote.
Category: Nature
The Nature category is in my opinion more of an environment that centers around naturally occurring terrain like forests and mountains. I will not accept any cityscapes or towns. What I expect for submissions for a nature category would be forests, lakes, rivers, caves, mountains, hills, plains, and ect. Only certain plant life will be considered nature rather than wildlife. This is because I also consider a flower to be more wildlife rather than just nature.
